Defined scope
The strategic priority and scope are defined before the engagement begins.
The firm’s identity
The name CIRRANE joins the circle’s disciplined focus with the crane’s structured form.
CIRRANE is pronounced SIR-RAYN
The open circle represents focused work still in progress. An origami crane begins as a single sheet of paper. Through deliberate folds, it takes on a clear, structured form.
CIRRANE brings those ideas together: focus the priority, organize the facts, compare the paths, and help leadership carry its chosen direction forward.
Why we exist
Founded in 2026, CIRRANE helps rural hospitals and Community-Based Health Systems connect strategic direction with care delivery. These organizations often face complex strategic and regulatory decisions with small leadership teams, tight capital and workforce constraints, and little room for delay.
We work alongside local leaders—not in their place—to bring an independent perspective and direct principal involvement. We help leadership assess options and support strategic initiatives as they move into operations.
Why we work this way
A clearly defined scope, an independent perspective, and direct work with the hospital’s leaders define our approach.
The strategic priority and scope are defined before the engagement begins.
The recommendation follows the facts rather than a predetermined product or platform.
Strategy is tested against clinical work, operating capacity, capital, and timing.
Assumptions, limitations, responsibilities, and next steps are clearly documented.
When specialized expertise is needed, we identify each contributor and the effect on scope before the work expands.
